Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 September 2026

These terms are between you and Boxing Timer, the publisher of the app. Questions about them go to alichahil047@gmail.com.

1. What this is

Boxing Timer is a round and interval timer for phones. It counts rounds and intervals, plays cues and keeps a record of the sessions you complete. By installing or using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to copies obtained from the App Store, and these terms sit alongside it. Where the two conflict on a point Apple requires, Apple’s terms win.

2. This is not medical advice

Boxing Timer is a timer, not a clinician. It is not a medical device and makes no diagnosis, offers no treatment and provides no medical, physiotherapeutic or nutritional advice.

  • Exercise carries risk. Speak to a doctor before starting or changing how you train, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or living with a heart, respiratory or metabolic condition.
  • Workouts the app generates are a starting point composed from a general exercise library. They are not personalised to your health, your history or your ability. Change anything that does not suit you.
  • Stop if something hurts. The app will keep counting; that is all it knows how to do.
  • You are responsible for how you train and for the consequences of it.

The app will not produce a plan in response to a description of pain, injury, illness or pregnancy. It offers gentle movement and suggests you speak to a qualified professional instead. That is a deliberate limit, not a fault.

3. Free and paid features

Part of the app is free and needs no payment and no account. That includes the full timer, every built-in workout, sound, voice and haptic cues, a limited number of your own workouts, your history, your streak and your weekly totals.

A subscription called Premium unlocks further features, which are listed on the subscription screen inside the app before you are asked to pay.

4. Subscriptions

  • Prices, billing periods and any free trial are shown in the app before purchase, in your local currency, as supplied by Apple or Google. We do not set them elsewhere.
  • Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • If a free trial is offered and you subscribe during it, the unused part of the trial is forfeited.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue them ourselves. Where the law of your country gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase, that right is unaffected by anything here.
  • Restoring a previous purchase on a new device is done with Settings → Restore purchases, using the same store account.

If a subscription lapses, nothing you created is deleted. Workouts beyond the free limit become read-only: you can still run them, share them and delete them, but not create more until you subscribe again or remove some.

5. Your data

Your workouts and history live on your device. We operate no account system and hold no copy. The Privacy Policy describes this in detail and forms part of these terms.

You are responsible for keeping a backup of anything you would be sorry to lose. The app can export one at any time from Settings → Your data. We cannot recover data from a lost, reset or broken device, because we never had it.

6. Acceptable use

Do not decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except as your local law permits regardless of contract. Do not use it to break the law. Do not resell access to it.

7. What we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of defects, that it will suit a particular purpose, or that cues will sound on every device in every circumstance. Operating systems sometimes restrict audio, notifications or background execution, and that behaviour is outside our control.

To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, and for injury arising from how you chose to train. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the publisher is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be published at this address before they take effect, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.

10. Ending it

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you breach these terms materially.
